There is a possibility of some relief from rain in Uttarakhand on Wednesday, while heavy rain is expected in the next two days. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert of heavy to very heavy rain in some parts of Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital and Bageshwar districts on Wednesday. Light rain is expected in other districts.
After this, an orange alert of heavy rain was issued on 28-29 August. Meteorologists say that the warning of heavy rain is for the hilly districts. While moderate to light rain is expected in other districts.
Flood forecast issued
The Hydromet Division of the Meteorological Department has issued a flood forecast for 24 hours on Wednesday. In this, flood has been predicted in Bageshwar, Chamoli, Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal and Uttarkashi till 5:30 am on Tuesday.
