There is a possibility of heavy rain in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand today (Saturday). The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in some areas of Pauri, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Nainital and Bageshwar districts including Dehradun.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of one or two rounds of heavy rain with strong thunder in other districts as well. Talking about the coming days, there is a possibility of heavy rain across the state till August 7.
Flood danger warning issued
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding the danger of flood for the next 24 hours from Saturday. In view of the rain, there is talk of flood danger in Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri Garhwal, Pithoragarh, Tehri Garhwal and Uttarkashi districts
