The weather is expected to change across the state starting today, Friday, with rain and snowfall possible in high-altitude areas. This could bring relief from the dry cold. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, light rain and snowfall are expected in mountainous areas from December 5th.
Light rain is expected, especially in parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh districts. Snowfall is also expected in areas above 3200 meters.
