The doors of Badrinath Dham will close on November 25: There are still 11 days left for the doors of Badrinath Dham to close, but the increasing cold every day in the Dham has increased the problems of the devotees. Here, devotees and traders are facing problems from the cold as well as icy winds. Everyone is completely covering themselves. So that they can protect themselves from the cold. Waterfalls and flowing water have started freezing: It should be noted that the Sheshnetra Lake, the Rishi Ganga waterfalls, and the flowing water in Badrinath Dham have begun to freeze. Due to the drop in temperature, the water has frozen, making it appear as if someone has placed a mirror over it. People are calling it a work of nature. If it rains, the temperature may drop further.
Severe cold predicted this year: According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), extreme cold is expected from December 2025 to February 2026. This means that this year the severity of winter may be more severe. Consequently, people may face considerable difficulties due to the bone-chilling cold. This winter, temperatures may drop by 0.5-1 degrees below normal.
