Dehradun: The weather will remain changed in the mountainous areas of the state today (Tuesday) as well. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for lightning and heavy rain with strong winds in some areas of Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts. Whereas, the weather will remain dry in the plains.
According to the forecast issued by the Center, light rain is likely in some parts of Pauri, Haridwar, Almora, Tehri, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts including Dehradun. Talking about the coming days, the weather will remain the same across the state till May 23.
A drop in temperature can be recorded due to heavy rains with strong winds in the mountainous areas. Whereas, cloudy weather in the plains will provide relief from hot winds. However, the heat will bother during the day.
