Dehradun: Weather is likely to change once again in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Center has issued a warning of rain and hailstorm with strong winds in most areas of the hill districts. According to the forecast issued by the center, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain and hailstorm with strong winds in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh today (Monday).
There is a possibility of light rain in other districts. Meteorologists say that such a change in the weather is being seen due to the activation of Western Disturbance. This is the reason why on May 19, apart from the hill districts, a yellow alert has been issued for hailstorm and strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers in some areas of Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Almora, Champawat and Nainital districts.
