The newly elected District Panchayat President of Uttarkashi, Ramesh Chauhan, met the Agriculture Minister of the state, Ganesh Joshi, at his official residence today. During this, Minister Joshi congratulated Ramesh Chauhan on being elected as the District Panchayat President and wished him a successful tenure.
During the meeting, Ramesh Chauhan urged the Agriculture Minister to ensure that the government soon purchases the apple crop of Harshil Valley, so that apple growers can get relief.
Apart from this, a delegation of youth from Upla Taknaur area of Uttrakhand district also met Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi and apprised him of the current problems of the apple growers of the area and requested for the purchase of apple crop on the lines of 2013. Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi listened to the delegation carefully and gave them positive assurance and assured them of all possible help.
On this occasion, many people including former District President Satendra Rana, Amit Shah, Bachendra Rautela, Manveer Rautela, Roshan Rautela, Pradeep Panwar and Uday Rana were present.
