The weather in Uttarakhand is expected to change once again. Heavy rain is expected in most parts of the state from Sunday to October 8th. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in Dehradun, as well as parts of Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, and Nainital districts.
C.S. Tomar, Director of the Meteorological Center, stated that due to the formation of low pressure, heavy rain is likely to occur again in Uttarakhand from October 5th to 8th. Heavy to very heavy rain is warned in most parts of the state, especially on October 6th and 7th.
There is a possibility of relief from the rains after this. He said, “Rain falls in Uttarakhand after the post-monsoon season. However, due to the formation of a low pressure area and the combination of a western disturbance, the monsoon has not completely withdrawn, and heavy rains are occurring.”
