Uttarakhand’s weather may bring the gift of rain and snowfall in the new year. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the hilly areas on December 30th, 31st, and January 1st. Meanwhile, six districts, including Dehradun, will experience cold day conditions on December 27th.
According to the forecast issued by the center, a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog in parts of Dehradun, Pauri, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, and Nainital districts on Saturday. However, the weather will remain dry in other districts.
Meteorologists say that the fog will cause dry, cold conditions in both the hilly and plains areas. However, the weather will remain dry throughout the state until December 29th. Rain and snowfall are expected in parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, and Rudraprayag districts on December 30th, 31st, and January 1st. In addition, snowfall is also possible in areas above 3500 meters in the state. This will directly affect the temperature across the state.
