According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert for rain has been issued in some areas of Pauri, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Nainital districts on August 18 today. There is a possibility of heavy rains in other districts as well. Talking about the coming days, there is a possibility of heavy rains across the state till August 21. Meteorologist Rohit Thapliyal said, the effect of monsoon trough line has started reducing in the state. Due to this, there is a possibility of relief from rain due to slowing down of monsoon in the state.
