Chamoli: Gadu Ghada of sesame oil threaded for the Abhishek of Lord Badrivishal reached Dimmar village late on Friday evening. The villagers welcomed the Yatra at Chaunri Chowk of the village and worshiped the oil kalash with flower shower. After this, the oil kalash was seated in Sri Lakshmi Narayan temple. Now for five days, the oil kalash will be worshiped in the temple with rituals.
Gadu Ghada Tel Kalash Yatra reached Gauchar on Friday evening. Here people took darshan of the oil kalash. After this, the Yatra reached Dimmar village late in the evening via Chatwa Pipal, Karnaprayag. Ashutosh Dimri of Dimri Religious Central Panchayat said that the oil kalash will be brought out from Sri Lakshmi Narayan temple on April 30.
After this, the oil kalash yatra will leave for Badrinath via Simli. During this time, Secretary Bhagwati Prasad Dimri, Shailendra Dimri, Harish Dimri, Naresh Chandra, Kamlesh Dimri, Mukesh Dimri, Hemchandra Dimri etc. were present.
