Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat and Cabinet Minister Mr. Subodh Uniyal participated in the “Cooperative Fair 2025” organized by the Uttarakhand Cooperative Department in Srinagar (Garhwal) today.
On this occasion, Minister Subodh Uniyal stated that the Uttarakhand government is continuously striving to realize the vision of Honorable Union Cooperative Minister Mr. Amit Shah, “Prosperity through Cooperation.” Through the cooperative movement in the state, initiatives such as economically empowering women’s self-help groups, modernizing agriculture-based cooperative societies, and expanding cooperative banking facilities in every block have given a new direction to the rural economy.
During the event, Minister Subodh Uniyal and Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat visited an exhibition and various cultural programs on cooperatives, and also distributed checks to customers of district cooperative banks.
Minister Subodh Uniyal stated that cooperation is not just a department, but has become a powerful medium to realize the resolve of a self-reliant India in every village. The aim of the state government is to connect every citizen with the mainstream of development through cooperation.
