The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UKBSE) board examinations will begin on Saturday. They will conclude on March 20th. The intermediate drawing and painting exam will be held on Saturday. The exam will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year, 2,15,252 candidates will appear for the board exams.
Board Secretary Vinod Simalti stated that 1,722 individual and 1,10,544 institutional candidates are participating in the high school exam. 3,637 individual and 99,349 institutional candidates are participating in the intermediate exam. 1,261 centers have been set up across the state to conduct the exams. Of these, 156 are sensitive and six are highly sensitive.
The first intermediate exam will be in drawing and painting on Saturday, while the final exams will be in Sanskrit, Urdu, and Punjabi on March 20th. The first high school exam will be in Hindustani music (melodic playing) and typing (English and Hindi) on February 23rd. The final exam will conclude with Hindustani music (vocal) and Hindustani music on March 20th. He stated that the exam will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates must be present at the examination center one hour before the exam.
