Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Mrs. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan today visited the ancient Siddhapeeth Veerbhadra Mahadev Temple and performed Rudrabhishek of Lord Mahadev. She performed the puja with devotion, praying for the happiness, prosperity, and welfare of the people of the state.
On this occasion, the Assembly Speaker also visited the Swayambhu Pipaleshwar Mahadev Temple and performed the ritualistic puja. This ancient temple is renowned as the Manokamna Siddhapeeth. It is believed that Veerbhadra himself installed the linga of Lord Mahadev here.
Following the puja, Mrs. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan received blessings from the most revered Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashananda Giri Maharaj and listened to his sacred words.
This divine Rudrabhishek and darshan program was completed in an atmosphere of complete faith and devotion.
On this occasion, the manager of Veerbhadra temple Raghuveer Giri Ji Maharaj, the state co-working president of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dinesh Semwal Ji, the chairperson of the State Women’s Commission Kusum Kandwal Ji, the mayor of Rishikesh Municipal Corporation Shambhu Paswan Ji, Kapil Gupta, Pramod Sharma, Ashwini Gupta, Bhanu Ji and many other devotees were present.
