As per the order issued by Sub-District Magistrate / Pargana Magistrate Gairsain Sohan Singh Rangad, during the assembly session, there will be a complete ban on activities like any kind of dharna-demonstration, procession, sloganeering, meeting without permission, breaking security barriers, use of loudspeakers or sound amplifying devices, bringing weapons, provocative speeches, spreading rumors and inflammatory messages through posters-banners or social media in the assembly premises and surrounding areas. The order states that during the assembly session, no person or group will do such work, which breaks the law and order or hinders the peace. If any person violates this order. Then punitive action will be taken against him under section 223 of the Indian Penal Code Security arrangements tightened for the session, 804 police personnel including 41 officers deployed On Monday, Chamoli DM and SP held a police briefing in the Vidhan Sabha Bhawan. During this, all the personnel were instructed to tighten the security arrangements. This time more than 41 officers and more than 804 police personnel have been deployed in the session. In the Vidhan Sabha Bhawan premises, District Magistrate Dr. Sandeep Tiwari instructed all the officers and employees to keep all the arrangements in order during the session period. Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Panwar, while addressing the police force, instructed everyone to be alert, sensitive and vigilant during duty and to follow the standard security protocol 100 percent. This time 4 Additional SPs, 12 COs, 25 Inspectors and 804 police personnel have been deployed for security. Barricades have been made at Junglechatti from Karnaprayag towards Diwalikhal and Dugtama from Gairsain towards Diwalikhal. For this, barricades have also been made at Diwalikhal on the Vidhan Sabha road. Not only this, temporary jails have been made at Malsi and Mehalchauri for the arrest of protesters. More than 12 doctors and eight ambulances deployed Karnaprayag. Health services have also been strengthened during the session. More than 12 doctors including ortho, physician, surgeon and other specialists have been deployed at Bhararisain while 8 ambulances will provide services 24 hours. Medicines have also been stocked. Gairsain CMS Dr. Arjun Rawat said that a medical relief post has been made at the Vidhan Sabha entrance. Where apart from MBBS doctors, paramedical staff will be deployed. Also, there will be specialist doctors in the temporary hospital. Dialogue Congress will gherao the assembly for permanent capital and other demands Congress will gherao the assembly on August 20 during the monsoon session of the assembly being held in Bharadisain. Congress block president Dan Singh Negi said that a huge rally will be organized in Ramlila Maidan on August 20 under the leadership of Nagar Panchayat President Mohan Bhandari. After which the assembly will be gheraoed demanding a permanent capital along with the poor condition of education, health and roads in Gairsain area. Former hunger striker Bhuvan Kathayat has said that a dharna-demonstration will be organized in Gairsain’s Ramlila Maidan for all three days of the session demanding Gairsain to be declared the permanent capital.
