New Delhi/Ghaziabad: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak arrived in Ghaziabad on Sunday. During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister held a review meeting regarding SIR with public representatives, party officials, and workers in the Janaki Auditorium of the Ramlila Maidan in Kavi Nagar. Addressing the gathering after the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that the names of infiltrators should be removed from the voter list under any circumstances; SIR is essential for the protection of democracy.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the voter list is the soul of democracy. The opposition has been constantly making allegations regarding the thorough revision of the voter list, but this is not the first time. In-depth inspections have been conducted several times before. The BJP has always advocated for the transparency of the voter list.
Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak said, “I held a thorough review meeting regarding SIR in Ghaziabad with public representatives, party officials, and workers.” Our effort is to ensure that anyone residing as an infiltrator is removed from the voter list. The BJP is conducting a special campaign in the state regarding SIR. This process is being rapidly advanced in Ghaziabad, with party officials and workers providing significant support.
The Deputy Chief Minister further stated that the opposition is continuously raising questions regarding SIR. The opposition suffered a crushing defeat in Bihar, and in the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, opposition parties will also face a landslide defeat. The people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh do not want a government of jungle raj. The opposition, anticipating its potential defeat, is opposing SIR. The opposition practices appeasement politics, whereas the BJP works with the slogan of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas.”
Regarding the Congress Party’s mega rally to be held on December 14th at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak said that Congress is a group of frustrated people. Congress is restless due to the loss of power. Meanwhile, regarding the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, Brijesh Pathak said, BJP is coming to Bengal with an absolute majority.
