While Khalid, who appeared in the Subordinate Selection Services Commission exam, is the mastermind behind the entire case, the police and the commission are anxious to nab the mastermind, whose name has emerged as Deewana. It’s a different matter that the police have not yet recovered Khalid’s mobile phone nor the alleged Deewana.
SP Jaya Baloni stated that in the audio recording recovered from Sabia’s mobile phone, the mastermind identified himself as Deewana. It is suspected that he not only delivered the device (possibly the mobile phone) used to take screenshots of the question paper to Khalid’s examination center, but also played a major role in jamming the jammer or keeping Khalid out of its range. However, there is a strong suspicion that the accused may not have revealed his real name to Sabia during the call.

During the WhatsApp call, he revealed his name as Deewana. She didn’t know much about him. Safia then sent the same questions to Assistant Professor Suman via WhatsApp and requested answers.
SP Jaya stated that Safia later deleted the question paper photos for all, although Suman had previously taken screenshots of them. These facts indicate that Safia was part of the conspiracy and attempted to destroy evidence.
