Luxor (Haridwar): If you are planning to go on a religious trip to South India in the next few days, then you can make your journey easy with the help of railways. Railways is going to operate Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train in the month of August for the visit of major pilgrimage places of South India including Tirupati Balaji. Passengers will be able to board the train from Haridwar and Rishikesh railway stations.
Ajit Kumar Sinha, Regional Manager of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), said that IRCTC will operate a special Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train between 29 August and 9 September. The train will depart from Yoganagari Rishikesh Railway Station on 29 August.
For the special travel package of 11 nights and 12 days, Rs 24350 per person will have to be paid for sleeper class, Rs 41800 for third AC and Rs 55750 per person for second AC class. The travel package includes train travel, breakfast and vegetarian lunch and dinner at AC non AC hotels and pilgrimage by AC non AC buses.

Tirupati Balaji Temple (Tirupati), Ramnath Swamy Temple (Rameshwaram), Meenakshi Temple (Madurai), local darshan (Kanyakumari) and Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga (Markapur).

You can board the train from Yoganagari Rishikesh, Haridwar, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Lucknow, Raebareli, Maa Behala Devi Dham Pratapgarh, Prayagraj Sangam, and Manikpur. The booking for the trip can be done online on the IRCTC website.
