Dehradun: Tourists coming to Mussoorie from the capital Dehradun will get to see the traditional folk culture near Kuthalgate and Sai Mandir on Rajpur Road. Beautification work is going on in various places of Dehradun. This work is almost complete. For the first time in Dehradun, tourists will also get to enjoy additional slip roads.
Dehradun’s intersections will be seen in a new look: Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal is constantly monitoring the construction work going on at these main places. If everything goes well, then in the coming time, tourists will get to see a wonderful view at Kuthalgate on Dehradun Mussoorie road. Here construction and artwork is being done to give tourists a glimpse of the traditional hill style.
District Magistrate Savin Bansal says that-
10 meter additional spill road was built:
A decision was taken to widen and round about four intersections to create a smooth traffic system. In this series, a 10 meter wide additional slip road has been built at Kuthalgate and Sai Mandir Tiraha. Apart from this, designs have been prepared in the hilly traditional style based on the culture of Garhwal and Kumaon for tourists at the intersections. Kuthalgate and Sai Mandir Tiraha are being beautified with statues of great personalities and revolutionaries of the state.

Roundabouts for life and safe traffic operation: DM Savin Bansal said that during the inspection on Tuesday, he has also asked the concerned officials to install spring posts and complete the remaining work soon. He expressed hope that all these works will be completed within a week.
Let us tell you that due to the efforts of the district administration, additional side roads, beautification in mountain style as well as roundabouts have been built for life and safe traffic operation on the main routes of Dehradun through which tourists keep coming and going.

Beautification is being done with 10 crores: The District Magistrate has made a provision of 10 crores from the Smart City budget for new construction and beautification in the city.
Along with this, memories of state agitators along with folk tradition, cultural heritage and artifacts of religious places have been preserved with this amount. With this, the intersections are being made attractive along with being beautified.
