There is little hope of relief from rain in the mountainous districts of Uttarakhand right now. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in some areas of the mountainous districts. While light rain is also expected in other districts.
Center’s Director CS Tomar said, light to moderate rain is expected in all the districts on Friday. However, there is an orange alert for heavy rain at some places in Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital, Bageshwar, Tehri and Haridwar districts. There is also a yellow alert for heavy rain in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag districts. Talking about the coming days, there is a possibility of light rain across the state till September 24.
