On the first day, 195 pilgrims departed for Gunji. Another 400 pilgrims are currently awaiting the issuance of Inner Line Permits in Dharchula. The second phase of the Yatra will continue until the end of October.
The second phase of the Yatra was scheduled to begin on September 15th, but due to bad weather, the administration had not issued Inner Line Permits. Responding to the increasing number of pilgrims in Dharchula and the demand from tour operators, the administration began issuing Inner Line Permits on Wednesday. Deputy District Magistrate Manjeet Singh stated that permits were issued to 195 pilgrims on the first day. Many pilgrims who reached Dharchula before September 15th had already proceeded to Gunji via the Inner Line Chhailek. Many pilgrims stayed at the Narayan Ashram.
After the Inner Line Permits were issued on Wednesday, pilgrims departed for Gunji. This pilgrimage will operate until the end of October. Pilgrims will travel from Gunji to visit Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. He stated that Inner Line Permits are yet to be issued to 400 more pilgrims. Due to weather conditions, permits will not be issued simultaneously.

The first phase of the Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Darshan Yatra was conducted from May to June, during which approximately 50,000 people visited Adi Kailash and Om Parvat.
