The number of visitors to Kedarnath Dham has crossed 15 lakhs. The Dham has regained its charm due to the increase in the number of pilgrims and visitors every day since the last one week. At the same time, Baba’s cheers are echoing throughout the day on the foot path from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. There are still 40 days of the journey left.
On Wednesday, 5215 devotees visited Baba Kedar in Kedarnath. During this, all the devotees were given darshan from the sanctum sanctorum of the temple by BKTC. Among those who visited the Dham, 3245 devotees were men, 1847 women, 92 children and 31 foreign Shiva devotees were present. Also, the total number of visitors has reached 503245
Bal Bhog is being offered to Lord Kedarnath
Yudhveer Pushpavan, Chief Administrative Officer of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee present in Kedarnath, said that the number of devotees in the Dham has increased since the last one week. Baba’s devotees are being given darshan since 5 am.
At 12.30 pm, Bal Bhog is being offered to the revered Lord Kedarnath. After this, religious darshan is being conducted again from 1 pm. He told that Kedarnath Yatra is to be conducted for 40 more days. In such a situation, the number of visitors per day is expected to increase further in the coming days
