State Irrigation, Public Works, Tourism, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Watershed Management, Religious Affairs and Culture Minister and Chaubattakhal MLA Satpal Maharaj, participating as the chief guest in programs held at Nagani village and Government High School Devikhal, Kotha in Bironkhal development block, has once again given a major gift to the people of his Chaubattakhal constituency by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for various development schemes worth Rs. 6387.51 lakh under the Public Works Department, Education Department, Panchayati Raj Department, and the Minor Irrigation Division, Srinagar.
On the third day of his visit to the area on Saturday, State Irrigation, Public Works, Tourism, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Watershed Management, Religious Affairs and Culture Minister and Chaubattakhal MLA Satpal Maharaj, participating as the chief guest in programs held at Nagani village and Government High School Devikhal, Kotha in Bironkhal development block, inaugurated the improvement and reconstruction work of the Rasiyamahadev-Nau-Nagani-Chittadkhal motor road worth Rs. 1480.55 lakh under the State Plan scheme of the Public Works Department in Nagani village of Bironkhal development block. He also laid the foundation stone for the improvement and road safety work of the 32 km long Swargiya Shri Geetaram Pokhriyal Motor Road Sarainkhet-Marchula-Bainjro-Pokhra-Satpuli State Highway, costing Rs. 5759.62 lakh under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund. In addition, he also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a building at Government Higher Secondary School Devikhal Kotha under the Education Department, at a cost of Rs. 46.74 lakh. Cabinet Minister and Chaubattakhal MLA, Shri Maharaj, inaugurated several development projects in the Bironkhal development block, including a government upper primary school building in Devikhal constructed at a cost of โน28.14 lakh, a government intermediate college building in Ghodiyanakhall built at a cost of โน224.24 lakh, and Panchayat Bhawans (community centers) in the villages of Chandoli, Talai, Dumaila Malla, Kota, Sungariya Bada, and Mangaur, constructed at a cost of โน60.00 lakh. He also inaugurated a lift irrigation scheme in Dangu Talla village under the Laghu Dal Khand, Srinagar, built at a cost of โน77.08 lakh, and a solar-based lift irrigation scheme in Bungidhar Malla village, costing โน43.14 lakh. With these inaugurations, he gifted development projects worth โน6387.51 lakh to the Bironkhal development block.
He stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state, along with the Chaubattakhal assembly constituency, is witnessing all-round development. During the event, he also held a meeting with BJP office bearers, workers, booth presidents, BLA-2s, Shakti Kendra conveners, and current and former office bearers in the Bironkhal เคฎเคเคกเคฒ (division), urging them to take the government’s development schemes to every citizen.
