- State Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has expressed deep sorrow over the damage caused by cloudburst and excessive rainfall in Bunrasi, Faldwadi, Mankholi of Pabau block and Kafald, Marora, Bharnau, Bhaidgaon, Kalyankhal, Bungidhar, Mairwa, Papatoli, Bhaiswada, Kuneth, Maikhuli and Sason villages of Thalisain block under his assembly constituency Srinagar.
Dr. Rawat said that he is standing with his people in this hour of natural disaster. He said that all possible help is being provided to the affected. He said that in view of the seriousness of the situation, information about the disaster affected areas has been obtained by talking to the District Magistrate. Also, the teams of administration and health department have been instructed to immediately engage in relief and rescue operations.
Dr. Rawat said that the disaster affected villages are being continuously monitored and the affected are being taken to safe places. Expressing apprehension about loss of life and property, he said that all necessary resources have been activated on priority basis.
He expressed grief over the death of two people due to being buried under debris after being caught in a landslide due to heavy rains in Bunrasi village of Pabau block and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
