The Sansad Khel Mahotsav (Parliamentary Sports Festival), which is set to begin today in the Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency, will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Mansukh Mandaviya. Garhwal Lok Sabha MP Anil Baluni informed that more than 13,000 registrations have already been received for the event.
The Sansad Khel Mahotsav will be held in the Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency from December 13th to December 25th. MP Anil Baluni said that following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, more than 13,000 young people from across the Garhwal region have applied to participate in various competitions at the Sansad Khel Mahotsav, which is a testament to the immense talent in the region and the enthusiasm of the youth for sports.
Preparations for the festival are in full swing throughout the Lok Sabha constituency. The festival is going to be unprecedented in the history of the Garhwal Lok Sabha. It is a matter of great pride that the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Mansukh Mandaviya, will inaugurate it in Pauri.
The festival will be held in all the major locations of the Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency, including Pauri, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Munikireti, and Ramnagar. MP Baluni urged the people of the region to attend the festival and encourage the participating athletes.
