The district administration Dehradun has removed the construction done by encroaching on government land. The mazaar built by illegal construction in the forest in Nawada campus was demolished today. The district administration had received a complaint that a mazaar has been built by illegal construction on government land in Nawada.
Various organizations had lodged objections with the district administration regarding this mazaar, the district administration issued a notice to the custodians of the mazaar. Under the prescribed procedure, today the team of the district administration under the leadership of City Magistrate Pratyush Singh and Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Harigiri demolished the said illegal structure with the help of JCB machine. The school administration had also complained about this illegal construction to the district administration, on which immediate cognizance was taken and action was taken.
Officials of the district administration including officials of the Forest Department, Police were present.
