During a dispute involving non-government schools at the Nanurkheda Education Directorate in Dehradun, Director of Elementary Education Ajay Kumar Nautiyal was attacked by some people. This caused chaos. The director suffered serious injuries to his face and head.
According to reports, some members of the non-government school management had arrived at the Directorate of Education to express their demands. An altercation broke out between Directorate staff and management representatives, which quickly escalated into a heated argument.
As the dispute escalated, some people attacked Director Ajay Kumar Nautiyal, breaking his glasses. Umesh Sharma Kau was also reported to be present at the scene. He is said to have accompanied the non-government school management members to the Directorate. Following the attack, the injured director was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and began investigating the matter.
This incident has caused panic within the Education Department. Government officials and employees are outraged by this incident. Police are currently investigating the matter and are identifying the accused and taking further action.
The Director told the media that the MLA and his supporters had come to discuss the name change of Asthal Primary School in Raipur Block. They were informed that a proposal had been submitted to the government. The scuffle occurred over this issue, and the MLA was also protesting there. He stated that the police would take action and a complaint was being filed.
