Gaya: A grand Passing Out Parade was held in the grounds of the OTA (Officers Training Academy), located near Paharpur village on the Bodhgaya main road. A total of 281 Gentleman Cadets passed out. Lieutenant General Dheeraj Seth, Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, attended the event as the chief guest and took the salute.
Piping Ceremony: The Gentleman Cadets performed a spectacular parade march during the Passing Out Parade. Several military officers and parents of the Gentleman Cadets were also present. A total of 281 Gentleman Cadets passed out and became military officers, taking the final step during the parade. A Piping Ceremony was also held, where parents placed badges on their children’s shoulders and congratulated them. The Gentleman Cadets also hugged each other and congratulated each other. Lieutenant General Dheeraj Seth addressed the gathering: Addressing the gathering, Lieutenant General Dheeraj Seth, Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, said, “Today marks the beginning of a new life for you. You have become part of the Indian Army.”

We hope that in the future, you will serve the nation and be prepared for every situation.” – Lieutenant General Dheeraj Seth, Commanding-in-Chief The country also received 28 female military officers: It should be noted that Gaya OTA is one of the three military officer training centers in the country, from where hundreds of Gentleman Cadets receive training and are commissioned as military officers every year. Following today’s parade, 28 women became military officers after completing the POP at the OTA. Multi-Activity Display: A day earlier, on March 6th, a multi-activity display was held here. On the eve of the 28th Passing Out Trade at Gaya OTA, the cadets performed stunning displays at the Rani Lakshmibai Stadium. A glimpse of their incredible combat skills was also witnessed. The passing-out officer cadets displayed their excellent combat skills, military proficiency, and discipline.
Several senior Army officers were present: The multi-activity display showcased astonishing displays from ground to sky. Lieutenant General Dheeraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, and Lieutenant General Vivek Kashyap, Commandant, OTA, along with several senior officers and dignitaries from Gaya OTA, were present.
Exciting Equestrian Hurdle Display: The event began with a spectacular equestrian display. The cadets conducted a ceremonial flag march, followed by a thrilling display of tent pegging and equestrian hurdles. The Equitation Symphony captivated the audience. The cadets’ balance and control on horseback were a sight to behold. The arena reverberated with applause. The thrill of gymnastics and high horse displays: The gymnastics and high horse displays further heightened the atmosphere. The cadets displayed a remarkable display of agility, strength, and balance. Several challenging military exercises were executed with utmost precision. Discipline and confidence were evident in each act.
Awesome moments captured on camera: The colorful fireworks at the end of the program added to the special atmosphere. The families of the cadets and spectators present in the stadium were seen capturing the moment on camera. A Gaurav Padak ceremony was also held on this occasion. The parents of the passing out cadets were honored. This honor was dedicated to the families who have dedicated their children to the armed forces for the service of the nation.
