On Sunday, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects in the Mussoorie assembly constituency at the community hall in Nagal Hatnala, Dehradun. On this occasion, he inaugurated the Nagal Hatnala drinking water scheme, constructed at a cost of ₹398.96 lakh, and development projects worth ₹23 lakh under the Mandi Parishad (Market Committee) in Ward 04, Rajpur. He also laid the foundation stone for road and drainage construction works in the Nagal Hatnala, Chalang, and Kulhan areas within the ward, at a cost of ₹188.36 lakh. In total, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi gifted development projects worth ₹616.67 lakh to the residents of the area.
In his address, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the state government is continuously working to strengthen basic amenities, prioritizing the welfare of the people. He said that development works such as drinking water, roads, and drainage play a significant role in improving the living standards of the common people, and the government is committed to the balanced development of every region. During the event, Minister Joshi also instructed the concerned officials to ensure the quality of internal road construction works and complete the projects within the stipulated time frame.
During the program, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi also honored senior citizens and active members of the party. Those honored included former Pradhan of Chalang, Ramlal Thakur, Prem Pathak, Meenakshi Bhatt, Kamal Gupta, Ravindra Singh, Kalam Singh Ramola, Rakhi Pundir, Ranveer, and Umesh Tyagi, among others.
