On Friday, Chief Minister Dhami visited former Chief Minister Harish Rawat at his residence in Defence Colony to inquire about his well-being. CM Dhami presented him with rice grown on his own farm. Harish Rawat had made a political jab at the Chief Minister for tilling his fields and planting paddy. However, today, the Chief Minister himself went to Harish Rawat’s house with the rice, conveying a sense of warmth and camaraderie in politics through this gesture. The Chief Minister said that this gift is a symbol of Uttarakhand’s agricultural tradition, the hard work of its farmers, and respect for local produce.
