As part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva campaign launched by the Government of India, the Dehradun Municipal Corporation today organized a cleanliness pledge at the Municipal Corporation headquarters under the “One Day, One Hour, Together” campaign. On this occasion, Municipal Commissioner Ms. Namami Bansal, IAS, administered the cleanliness pledge to all the Corporation’s officers, employees, supervisors, and employees.
In the same sequence, the Municipal Corporation also organized cleanliness pledge programs at various schools, public places, zonal offices, parking lots, vending zones, etc.
Following the oath taking ceremony, a “One Day, One Hour, Together” voluntary labor donation and cleanliness drive was organized, in which students, local citizens, voluntary organizations, and Municipal Corporation employees actively participated.
The Dehradun Municipal Corporation urges all citizens to make cleanliness an integral part of their daily lives and contribute to the realization of the pledge of “Clean Dehradun, Healthy Dehradun
