Tehri: A case of death of a PRD jawan under suspicious circumstances has come to light inside the New Tehri police station. Kotwali Tehri informed the family about the death of the PRD jawan. Since then, the family has been in shock.

The death of the PRD jawan under suspicious circumstances at the district headquarters in New Tehri caused a stir. PRD jawan Roshan Prasad Nautiyal (38 years), was a resident of Pujargaon, Pratapnagar. The family members, who reached the Tehri hospital on Saturday, expressed suspicion and demanded an investigation. The police informed the family. The family members have demanded an inquiry from the district magistrate.
Taking cognisance of the matter, the Tehri Garhwal District Magistrate has said that an investigation will be conducted. At the same time, the PRD has expressed confidence in giving a job to the wife of the jawan. After the assurance of the Tehri Garhwal District Magistrate, the family members got ready for the post-mortem of the PRD jawan. The post-mortem was conducted at the district hospital in Borari.
Preliminary investigations are suspecting suicide, but the cause of death is not yet clear. Police are investigating the case.
PRD jawan Roshan Prasad Nautiyal was posted on duty in New Tehri. His body was found in a suspicious condition on Saturday morning. The police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.
