Officials of the Joint Competitive Examination Students’ Union, who had demanded the cancellation of the exam, were assaulted at Nepali Farm while returning from Dehradun. These students from the Haridwar region had met with the Chief Minister’s Secretary, Shailesh Bagauli, in Dehradun. The students stated that the paper was not leaked; if there was any irregularity, it occurred at one center. Therefore, any decision should be taken only in relation to the relevant examination center. They submitted a memorandum to the Secretary in this regard.
The students’ demands for the cancellation did not agree with this, and they stopped their vehicle at Nepali Farm while returning. The Raiwala police are investigating the matter.
In the memorandum submitted to the Secretary, the organization stated that the exam was completely fair, transparent, and free of cheating. About half an hour after the exam began, some individuals were found with photographs of the question paper, which is creating a misleading atmosphere. The memorandum also stated that they have full faith in the Commission and that the exam was conducted fairly, as before.
Some people were trying to stop the exam even before it began and are now trying to get the results cancelled. If this happens, it will be a waste of their years of hard work and future. The exam should not be cancelled and the results should be released promptly to secure their future.
The Secretary assured necessary action in the matter. Those who met the Secretary included Ishant Rauthan, Rampal Singh, Vinod Azad, Umesh Kumar, Mohit, Dhurendra, Arjun Singh, Manendra Kumar, Shivam, etc
