In Dhallipur, under the Kotwali police station area, 18-year-old Manisha Tomar, a 12th-grade student, was brutally murdered. The student had gone to Vikas Nagar on Wednesday evening with her cousin, Surendra, on a motorcycle to get medicine for a dental problem. When she did not return by 9:00 PM, her family began searching for her.
Her blood-stained body was later found near some bushes, about a kilometer from the village. She had been attacked with a sharp weapon, and her face had been severely disfigured with a stone. The student’s cousin has been missing since the incident. SSP Ajay Singh stated that a search is underway for the cousin. The family is in shock after seeing their daughter’s condition.
