Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal inaugurated the second day of the Sparsh Himalaya Festival at the Writers’ Village in Thane. He noted that the current era is Industry 4.0, encompassing AI, robotics, and 3D printing. He emphasized that writers should write about the challenges of AI. India’s new Parliament building was built using 3D printing technology, symbolizing a self-reliant India. Upon request from previous speakers, he sang Meera’s hymn, “Bhairi Main To Prem Deewani Mera Dard Na Jaane Koi, Suili Upar Sej Piya Ki Kis Vidhi Milna Hoi.”

Meera’s “Prabhu Peer Mitegi Jab Vaidya Sanwariya Hoye” (The Lord will eradicate pain when the Vaidya is a saint) resonated with applause. He stated that the Prime Minister has enacted the Nari Shakti Vandan Act to ensure 33% representation for women in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies. Reciting his poem, he said that Modi has provided an opportunity to honor women. The bill was passed unanimously by Parliament. IIT Roorkee Director Kamal Kishore Pant, former President of Mauritius Prithviraj Singh Roopun, Chidanand Muni, Prof DP Singh etc also expressed their views in the programme
