Abhishek Singh, son of former state Congress president Pritam Singh, has been declared the supported candidate for the Zila Panchayat member. He has been declared the supported candidate from Brinand Vastil Zila Panchayat area. At the same time, Virendra Singh has been declared the supported candidate from Gangroli Zila Panchayat.
Today is the last day of nomination scrutiny
Wednesday will be the last day of nomination scrutiny in the three-tier panchayat elections in the state. After this, there will be a chance to withdraw the nomination. Election symbols will be allotted for the first phase of elections on July 14. The nomination process for the first and second phase of panchayat elections in the state was held between July 2 and 5. After this, the scrutiny of nomination papers started from July 7, which will end on Wednesday. During the scrutiny, those nominations which will not meet the standards will be canceled. All the remaining candidates will be given a chance to withdraw their nominations on July 10 and 11. After the withdrawal of nominations ends by 3 pm on July 11, the final list of candidates will be released. Out of these candidates included in the list, election symbols will be allotted for the first phase on July 14. The first phase of elections will be held on 24 July.
