Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi visited the Lansdowne Cantonment Board today. During the visit, he inspected the Army Mess and shared his experiences of military life over tea with the soldiers.
Reviewing the facilities and arrangements for the soldiers, Joshi stated that the role of soldiers in national security is paramount. He stated that the government is constantly striving for the welfare and convenience of soldiers.
On this occasion, the Soldier Welfare Minister also met with Agniveer trainees and inquired about their training. He encouraged them, advising them that dedication to serving the nation and discipline are the fundamental principles of life.
Brigadier Vinod Singh Negi, Commandant of the Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre, was also present on the occasion.
