Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi today inspected the ongoing construction of the Sainyadham in Guniyalgaon, Dehradun. Taking a first-hand look at the final stages of construction, Minister Joshi directed officials to complete all necessary work and preparations before the inauguration of the Sainyadham, ensuring timely completion with quality.
Soldier Welfare Minister Joshi stated that the inauguration of the Sainyadham is planned during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s expected visit to Uttarakhand on November 9th, marking the silver jubilee of the State Foundation Day. He stated that the shrine is a symbol of respect for the soldiers and will be dedicated to the people of the state soon.
The Soldier Welfare Minister stated that the Sainyadham is the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and the commitment of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government. He stated that after studying various military memorials across the country, it has been developed as the most grand and unique structure.
He said that Baba Harbhajan Singh and Baba Jaswant Singh are worshipped in the Indian Army, carrying forward the same tradition, facilities like museum, theatre and light and sound show are being developed in Sainyadham, through which the stories and valour of the brave martyrs will be displayed. Minister Joshi said that after the inauguration, just like people come for Chardham Yatra, in the same way people will definitely come to Sainyadham to pay homage to our brave sons and to know about their valour.
On this occasion, Additional Secretary Shyam Singh, Deputy Director Wing Commander (Retd) Nidhi Badhani, Project Director Ravindra Kumar and other officers were present.
