Uttarakhand’s Rural Development Minister Ganesh Joshi also participated through virtual medium in the virtual meeting organized in connection with the Chintan Shivir program to be held in the upcoming month of September under the chairmanship of Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Ministers and senior officials associated with the Rural Development Department of various states across the country were present in the meeting. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan invited suggestions from all the states for the successful organization of the proposed Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rajasthan on 4-5 September 2025.
On this occasion, the Rural Development Minister of the state Ganesh Joshi said that this Chintan Shivir will prove to be a milestone in making the policies of rural development more effective. He said that the Uttarakhand government is continuously working to make the schemes of the Center reach the people in the field of rural development. Minister Joshi also shared his suggestions related to promoting rural livelihood, self-reliance, self-employment and conservation of natural resources.
During this, Minister Joshi also directed the officials to study the Himalayan states of the North East, so that better and practical implementation of schemes related to rural development can be done in the hilly states.
