Ranchi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Ranchi on Friday for a two-day visit to Jharkhand to hold direct dialogue with tribal communities. After arriving at Ranchi airport, the RSS chief went directly to the Sangh office in Niwaranpur, Ranchi, where he will spend the night. He will participate in a tribal dialogue program at the Carnival Banquet Hall in Ranchi on January 24.
According to information from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office, about one thousand tribal representatives from Jharkhand will participate in the tribal dialogue program, which will begin at 10 am. During the program, the RSS chief will not only engage in direct dialogue but will also address the gathering. Several RSS functionaries, including Regional Pracharak Ramnavami Prasad and Provincial Pracharak Gopal, will also be present. After the program, the RSS chief will depart for Patna by train on Saturday evening. RSS is currently conducting tribal dialogues.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is currently working to strengthen its presence among tribal communities through tribal dialogues. The objective is to portray tribals as an integral part of Hindu society. In addition, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has appealed to people to eliminate caste-based discrimination from their minds so that it can be eradicated within 10-12 years. According to reports, the tribal dialogue will help the Sangh formulate a future action plan for tribal-dominated areas. Discussions will also be held on the work being done by Sangh volunteers in tribal areas through education, health, and service activities via Seva Bharati, aiming to build trust and social harmony among them. The Sangh is also working towards creating a caste-less society.
During the tribal dialogue, discussions will focus on creating a caste-less society free from discrimination based on social hierarchy. Efforts will also be made to highlight tribal culture as a rich part of Indian culture.
