Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal held a press conference at the Congress Bhavan. During the press conference, he said that evidence was initially destroyed in the Ankita murder case, and now the government is demanding evidence. Godiyal said that Ankita’s parents have been demanding a CBI investigation from the beginning. The government has not been able to make a decision on this in three years.
Earlier, the “Give Justice to Ankita Bhandari” march reached Gopeshwar town on Tuesday. Here, under the leadership of Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal, Congress workers held a rally for about one kilometer, which included workers from all three assembly constituencies of the district. The workers raised slogans against the state government and demanded a CBI investigation into the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
Godiyal said that this fight will continue until Ankita Bhandari gets justice. This is the demand of the people. He alleged that the government is putting all its efforts into protecting its leaders. He said that after Ankita’s murder, the government worked to destroy the evidence, and now they are demanding evidence of the murder.
