According to the information released by the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rain may occur in Bageshwar, Champawat, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri Garhwal, Tehri Garhwal, Udham Singh Nagar. The department instructed that do not go near rivers and streams during rain and avoid traveling in mountainous areas if not necessary.
Heavy rain forecast, letter sent to DM to remain alert
The State Emergency Operations Center has sent a letter to all the District Magistrates.
