The recruitment rally organized by 127 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Eco Garhwal Rifles was inaugurated on 14 July 2025 at Jaswant Singh Ground, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun. This recruitment rally will run from 14 July to 19 July 2025. Candidates participated enthusiastically in the rally on the very first day.
On the first day, a total of 160 ex-servicemen appeared for document verification. Out of these, 5 candidates were screened successfully, while the remaining 155 candidates participated in the physical efficiency test.
The objective of this rally is to further strengthen the national defense preparedness by recruiting eligible ex-servicemen in the Territorial Army. Under this recruitment process, 49 soldiers (general duty) from Uttarakhand and 13 tradesmen from all over the country are being recruited.
The recruitment process is being conducted in a fair, transparent and systematic manner, giving priority to discipline, physical ability and operational readiness.
