Recruitment process has been started for 117 temporary posts of yoga instructors in government colleges. Interviews of candidates will be held between August 1 and 8. After this, the selected candidates will get deployment in colleges from August 11.
According to Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, interviews of yoga instructors will be held on the basis of merit. The time table has been fixed to call them for this. There is an agreement between Higher Education Department, Skill Development and Service Scheme Department to start the appointment process on 640 application forms only through Rojgar Prayag Portal.

The Service Scheme Department has been asked to provide district-wise list of these candidates on the basis of merit. A total of 100 marks have been fixed for educational qualification and experience for this post. Candidates have been given maximum 10-10 marks in high school and intermediate, 20 in graduation, 30 in PG Diploma, M.A. Yoga and maximum 30 marks have been fixed by providing three marks per year for experience. While 50 marks have been fixed for interview. The merit list of candidates will be released by July 25.
