Ramnagar:-The Nainital police has so far arrested 7 accused in the Sarim murder case that took place on the night of June 13 in Ramnagar in Nainital. Two accused are still absconding. Taking the action further, the police have put up a notice of attachment by announcing with drums in the locality of both the accused.
Sarim, a resident of village Bedajhal, was brutally murdered on the night of June 13 in Shivlalpur Chungi area of Ramnagar. The police have so far arrested seven accused in the case and sent them to jail. Now, the Nainital police took a big action against the two accused, who are absconding after the court’s order, and pasted a notice of attachment on the houses of Mohatsim and Armaan, residents of Mohalla Gularghatti in Ramnagar, with drums.
Giving information, Kotwal Arun Kumar Saini said that the involvement of Mohatsim and Armaan in this murder had come to light during the investigation. There was a constant pressure to arrest the two. But they have been on the run for a long time. He said that a petition was filed in the court seeking permission to attach the property of these two accused, which the court has accepted. Only after this, the police have issued a notice of attachment on the houses of both the village.
Here’s the case: Sarim was brutally murdered in a bloody clash between the two factions on June 13. The matter started with a phone conversation between the two factions. Due to this enmity, there was a fierce fight between the two groups near Shane Punjab Dhaba. In the clash, Sarim was attacked and killed by people from another faction with a sharp weapon. The police have so far arrested Sikander, Mohammed Asif, Danish, Adnan, Mohammed Shah Rukh and Faizan in this case. While Mohatsim and Armaan are absconding.
