Janadhikar Party (Janshakti) Protested At MDDA

The Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority appears to be embroiled in allegations of corruption. Activists of the Janadhikar Party (Janshakti) surrounded the Dehradun MDDA office and submitted a memorandum to MDDA Vice President Bansidhar Tiwari, demanding an investigation into the masterplan, alleging that MDDA Chief Engineer Harichand Singh Rana approved group housing on drain land near Paundha in Dehradun and that he had approved incorrect maps at several locations. Meanwhile, the party’s National General Secretary, Hema Bhandari, demanded that all approved drain maps be investigated and any officer found guilty be immediately expelled. MDDA Vice President Bansidhar Tiwari responded, stating that they approve all maps only after verifying all the facts. They had previously received complaints regarding drain maps and had made amendments to them, but the activists’ concerns would be reviewed.
