Ranchi: President Draupadi Murmu will be on a one-day visit to Jharkhand on February 26th. As scheduled, she will arrive at Ranchi Airport by a special flight at 11:05 am. Ten minutes later, at 11:15 am, she will depart for Sonari Airport, where she is scheduled to arrive at 12:00 pm.
President to participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the temple
From Sonari Airport, the President will travel approximately 10 kilometers by road via Marine Drive, Kadma, to reach the groundbreaking ceremony at 12:20 pm. There, she will unveil the plaque. The President will participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the temple, organized by the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Centre Trust, Jamshedpur.
The Chief Minister and the Governor will address the event.
The event will begin with a welcome address by Managing Trustee S.K. Behera. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will address the gathering at around 1 p.m. This will be followed by addresses by Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar. President Draupadi Murmu is scheduled to address at 1:15 p.m. After the event, the President will receive Prasad.
Tight security arrangements in Jamshedpur and Ranchi
President Draupadi Murmu will then arrive at Manipal Tata Medical College at around 3 p.m. to interact with students. After the student interaction, she will return to Ranchi via Sonari Airport. From Ranchi Airport, the President will depart for Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) at 4:45 p.m. The administration and security agencies are fully prepared for the President’s visit. Preparations are in the final stages at the event venues in Jamshedpur and Ranchi.
