The traffic police have begun finalizing their preparations for the President’s arrival during the upcoming special session. Parking is being specially prepared, and information management is being improved.
On Wednesday, SP Traffic Lokjeet Singh, along with the CO Traffic, TI, and SO Nehru Colony, conducted an extensive inspection of the areas surrounding the Assembly. SP Traffic Lokjeet Singh stated that separate parking spaces have been designated for the convenience of government employees, officials, senior police officers, Assembly staff, and Secretariat employees traveling during the President’s visit. This will prevent unnecessary congestion and traffic jams at parking lots and ensure smooth movement for all important individuals.
Special Focus on Information Management
SP Singh stated that all traffic-related preparations are being finalized, with special emphasis on both security and convenience. Separate WhatsApp groups have been created for all concerned staff and officials to quickly communicate any emergencies or changes that may arise during the visit. Using this digital medium, information about parking space changes, traffic diversions, or any other important information can be immediately communicated to everyone. Flexes and signage will be installed to manage traffic and help all employees and officers reach their designated parking spots, avoiding confusion
