Rudrapur: Minister in-charge of Udham Singh Nagar district and Agriculture and Rural Development Minister of the state Ganesh Joshi today held a meeting with senior officials and district level officials in the Collectorate auditorium in Rudrapur regarding the preparations for the proposed visit of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on July 19.
Minister Joshi directed the officials to conduct the grounding ceremony of ₹ 1 lakh crore to be held in Rudrapur in full grandeur and impressive form. He said that this event will give a new direction to the industrial progress of Uttarakhand and strengthen the identity of the state across the country.
He said in clear words that no negligence will be tolerated in making this visit of Home Minister Amit Shah a success. Minister Joshi reviewed in detail all the arrangements including security, traffic management, cleanliness, drinking water, parking and media coordination at the venue and directed the concerned departments for timely work.
Minister Joshi said that this program is a very proud occasion not only for Uttarakhand but also for Udham Singh Nagar district. Officers should work with dedication and coordination so that the event is completed smoothly and grandly.
He informed that during the Global Investors Summit organized in the year 2023 under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, investment proposals worth ₹ 3.5 lakh crore were received, out of which grounding of ₹ 1 lakh crore is now being done. This is a symbol of the growing confidence of investors towards the state.
Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, Chief Minister’s Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey, District Magistrate Nitin Bhadoria, Senior Superintendent of Police Manikant Mishra and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
