The State Congress Committee has expelled three leaders for anti-party activities. The State Discipline Committee has terminated the primary membership of Kirat Singh Rawat, Chatar Singh Rawat and Suleman Ali for six years.
According to the Discipline Committee, Pokhra Block Congress Committee President Kirat Singh Rawat withdrew his nomination in support of the opposition candidate even after being declared the party-supported candidate. At the same time, former Block President Khirsu Chatar Singh Rawat is contesting the election against the party-supported candidate. Apart from this, the State Congress took seriously the anti-party statements made by former state spokesperson Suleman Ali for a long time.
Disciplinary action was taken against the three leaders and they were expelled from the party. State Congress Karan Mahara says that the Congress Party is a disciplined organization. Indiscipline will not be tolerated in it. Strict action will be taken against anyone who crosses the line of party discipline
